Rooted Silence

Traveling across the U.S. taught me a lot about movement — how easy it is to keep going, chasing new places, new skies. I spent so much time surrounded by noise — the sound of highways, conversations with strangers, and the rhythm of daily motion.

But somewhere along the way, I found quiet.
It wasn’t in a big moment — it just happened, maybe on a back road in the middle of nowhere, where the land stretched out for miles and the air felt still. I stopped, and for the first time in a long time, I just listened.
