Verdant Bloom

I think this piece came from a place in me that was changing before I had words for it.

You know those times in life when everything feels unclear? Not bad, not good — just shifting. Like you’re outgrowing something, but you don’t yet know what you’re growing into. That’s what these layers are. The darker parts, the soft washes, the places where colors blur into each other — that’s the in-between.

When I look at this, I see how growth actually feels. Not a straight line. Not a big breakthrough moment. It’s slow. It pools. It gets messy. Some days feel heavy and shadowed, others lighter, almost golden. But underneath all of it, something is still moving, still becoming.

Verdant Bloom is me saying: it’s okay if you can’t see your progress yet. Nature doesn’t rush, and neither do we. Roots grow in the dark. Leaves unfold when they’re ready. You are allowed to be in the middle of your becoming — layered, complicated, and still deeply alive.

If this piece feels familiar, maybe it’s because you’re blooming too — even if no one else can see it yet.
