Echoes of Companionship

This piece came from a place of remembering.
There was someone I shared so many miles, moments, and quiet spaces with. We didn’t always need words — sometimes just being near each other felt enough. Like two trees growing side by side, separate but connected through the same ground.

Over time, things changed. Distance, silence, the kind that doesn’t hurt but hums softly in the background — like an echo of what once was. And yet, that connection still lives somewhere deep inside me, not gone, just transformed.

When I created this piece, I thought about that — how some people stay with us, even when they’re no longer beside us. How love, in its quietest form, becomes a part of the landscape we carry within.
