Molten Grace


Some wounds never truly disappear. They
fade, they quiet down, they settle into the
background of your life, until years later,
something small brings them back. A
memory. A feeling. A shift in the air.


This piece was born from one of those
moments.


I realized the pain wasn't sharp anymore.
It didn't ache the way it once did.
It had changed.
It had softened.
What once felt like fire had become
warmth ,still there, but no longer burning
me.
 
The red carries what used to feel
overwhelming , the hurt, the intensity, the
things I didn't know how to hold at the time.
The grey is the distance that time creates,
the life that continues around old scars. And
the gold... the gold is what remained after
everything settled.
The strength I didn't know I was building.
The quiet wisdom that only comes from
healing slowly

we were and how far we've come.
